Piwo

In Polish, "piwo" (PEE-voh) means beer.  Beer has been an important part of Polish culture ("Polska kultura") and Polish cuisine ("kuchnia Polska") for centuries.  Did you know that Poland is the third-largest producer of beer in Europe?

You will find a brewery ("browar") in every major town ("miasto"), and there are more than 70 of them across the country ("kraj") -- each one with its particular tradition ("tradycja").  At home, beer may be consumed at dinner ("kolacja") and especially with friends ("przyjaciele").

Visit our flagship castle store and choose your favorite Polish beer: we have more than a dozen different brands!  And if you want to match Polish food with beer, consider kielbasa, pierogi or one of our famous specials and samplers.
